I dream about silence
When no one shrieks
The smiles riffle through air
I dream about silence
When the gun is back into barrack
When the smell of powder is gone
I dream about silence
When the conifers flail in freedom
When the cool breeze kisses its needles
Destroyed by violence
I am forced to love
I dream about silence
When my mother doesn’t bother about dark
When the doors are not knocked to wake us
When the uninvited guests don’t kick us
I dream about silence
And I still dream reluctant to accept reality
