The Rain

I love you my rain
You come uninvited like her
You drench me like her
But, you know, she is cruel
She makes me cry unlike you
She makes me dry unlike you
I love you my rain
You are my support in solitude
You are my partner of silence
I love you my rain
Come pour on me
In this hot humid weather of longing
Come and fetch me respite
Come before she comes back
I love you my rain
Just stay for some time
So that I may tell you
What is love
The cruel spring in autumn
It is all false with a pretense of hope
It is all dry without a drop
There is no life
Just the hope of life
I love you my rain
Just visit me to check my breath
